Communities for Ukraine

- is an official charitable matching project supporting potential hosts in the UK and Ukrainian guests to get matched and provide safe resettlement for Ukrainians to the UK under Homes for Ukraine visa scheme. We are continuously supporting Ukrainians in need, and try to explore new ways of finding more hosts as the situation in Ukraine doesn't improve.

RIGHT NOW WE NEED MORE HOSTS

USPUK is a registered charity providing step-by-step support for anyone who is interested in hosting Ukrainians. We can make sure you get the most suitable guest arrangement possible.

You can make a real difference by becoming a host for Ukrainian refugees. By opening your home, you provide not just shelter, but hope and a chance for families to rebuild their lives. Your generosity can offer safety, stability, and a warm welcome to those who've lost everything.

Hosting is a powerful way to directly impact lives and stand in solidarity with Ukraine. It's an opportunity to learn about a new culture, forge lasting friendships, and be part of a global community of compassion.

You may help a single person or a family to continue normal life, work and studies.

Here is what Ukrainians are sharing with us still in hope to find safety in the UK:

“Natalia, a single lady, she worked in elementary school teacher at the frontline city of Kherson. As her town is now occupied she hopes for building a peaceful life in the UK. Dedicated to contributing positively to society, she is eager to integrate and find employment in respective fields.”

"Yevgen and Natalia lived in Kherson city, which was occupied on the first day of the invasion. At this moment, city is still experiencing guns pounding away. They want to find a new home in the UK and build a perfect home atmosphere. Their main goal is to benefit society. From the first days, they want to start socialising in a new society and looking for a job."

***

"Katherina wants to come to the UK for her son’s safety. She speaks English well, would like to live and work in the UK. She has a friend in the UK but unfortunately she can't be a sponsor. It is quiet family without bad habits. Could you become a host for 6 months or more, depending on your situation.”

…There are many more on our list, all of them seeking safety and a new home

Could you help us by hosting Ukrainians?

We are now receiving over 300 applications monthly from potential guests, some of whom remain in areas such as Kharkiv, Kyiv, Zaporizhzhia and others that are under daily attacks from Russian bombs.

Latest match we’ve done was for the twins Sofiia and Solomiia from Ukraine, both used to serve as nurses at the frontline. They now found sanctuary in the UK thanks to one of our amazing sponsors in Cambridge.

Are you ready to help now? Then please book a call with our sponsor coordinator by emailing to sponsors@uspuk.org or click the button ‘Become a Host’ bellow to register your interest.
