Inna and Nataliia’s Journey to the UK

Inna and Nataliia’s Story

Inna and Nataliia, two childhood friends, made the brave decision to find a sponsor together, knowing that their journey to the UK would be more manageable as a team.

Despite the challenges of finding a sponsor for two people, USPUK provided support throughout the process, from finding a sponsor to assisting them with the visa application. They arrived at their sponsor's home in early October 2023, and are still living there today.

Inna and Nataliia wrote to thank us:

"My friend and I would like to thank you and USPUK for giving us the chance to live safely in the UK. Special thanks go to the people who became not just our sponsors but also our British family. It is an incredible effort that you put in to find this peaceful haven for us, and we will always be grateful.

The family we have been matched with has been wonderful. Their kindness, support, and genuine care have been more than we could have ever hoped for. We are truly blessed to have found not only sponsors but also a second family here in the UK. Thank you for everything you do – it goes beyond just being professional."

Many times, guests develop strong relationships with their sponsors, and the sponsors are willing to host and support them for much longer than the initial 6-month period. This has been the case for Inna and Natalia, who are still living with their sponsors, feeling welcomed and cared for.

Would Like to Become a Host?

At USPUK, we assist not only Ukrainian families on their journey but also the hosts who decide to join our sponsorship programme. From the moment they register with us, throughout the hosting experience, and until the Ukrainian family is ready to leave the sponsor's home, we are there to support both parties.

Thanks to the generosity of our sponsors and the dedication of USPUK's Ukrainian Sponsorship Project team, we have been able to offer Ukrainians like Inna and Nataliia a chance to find safety and rebuild their lives in the UK.

If you would like to get involved or if you would like more information about our Ukrainian Sponsorship Project, you can find out more on our website in the "Become a Host" section.
